More Great News...and another picture

Late this afternoon we received an email that our Travel Approval (TA) arrived at the agency today. They will request our Consulate Appointment tomorrow and we should receive confirmation of that appointment in a few days. By the end of next week we'll be booking airfare!! Finally, there is light at the end of this long, long tunnel.

New pictures of my girl!

We received updated pictures of Chloe Grace today. We sent her the doll she's holding and the purple dress she's wearing. I'm so glad to know she's receiving the boxes we've sent. I've mailed her 2 boxes so far. Hopefully we'll get our travel notice soon!!

We also received an update on her measurements. She is 41 inches tall, weighs 35 pounds and has a size 11 foot...hmmm I think the shoes I've purchased so far are all too small!

Back on for a June departure :)

Well, I don't think anyone knows exactly what happened, but it seems our package was in China where it was supposed to be after all. It didn't get scanned by FedEx past Alaska, so according to them it hasn't been delivered and is still missing...they can keep looking!! The CCAA said they have all our paperwork and are working on our Travel Approval. After we receive our Travel Approval, the travel coordinator at our agency can request our CA, which is our consulate appointment. When we receive our appointment we can book our travel. Right now our estimated departure date is June 26th. Just over a month until we see our girl!!

FedEx is not my friend right now!!

We found out from our agency today that our package headed back to China with our signed approval in it is MIA...14 families are in limbo at this point. The tentative travel dates of June 26-July 9 are definately out of the question at this point. Come on, FedEx.....we need that package to turn up. I'm not a happy camper at the idea of a 2-3 week delay!

We got this video of Chloe Grace in our LOA package today....it's just priceless. I'm pretty sure at the end she says "mama" and "baba"....mommy and daddy :) I'm already so in love with her!

Approval is here!!

Well, 91 days in - we finally got "The Call", so now I'll share a picture of Chloe Grace. We should travel in 6-8 weeks. Can't wait to bring my girl home!!
